Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati ( IIT Guwahati) invites online applications from eligible Indian Nationals for appointment to the following posts. Candidates are requested to apply online only. No other means /mode of application will be accepted.

Name of Post: Junior Assistant

No of Posts: 20 posts( UR-11, OBC-07,SC-01,ST-01). The no of posts may vary.

Scale of Pay: PB1-Rs.5200-20200, Grade pay-Rs.2000/-

Appointment will be initially on contract basis for a period of three years and likely to be regularized based on performance.

Minimum Qualification and experience: Bachelor's degree with working knowledge of computers.

Age: Max. 27 years as on last daet of receipt of application form.
(Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-servicemen will be as per GOI rules).

Candidates will have to make payment of application fees through online mode as under: Rs.300/-(for General/OBC candidates) and Rs.150/- (for SC/ST/PwD candidates)
